Project Description

  • The intent of the company  value-based healthcare (VBHC) is to design strategies and solutions which address the need of patients, healthcare providers and payers. 
  • The purpose of the VBHC plan is to maximize the contribution of company to address key patient and HC system challenges and opportunities, whilst sustainably supporting the company business. Coordinating with the global and EU strategy and sharing best practices with other countries are parts of the responsibilities.
  • Responsible for the development, implementation, deployment, and analysis of value-added services  in cooperation and alignment with the European brand team including responsibility for timelines and budget
  • Partnering with the VBHC managers across EU
  • Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators results and discuss with the VBHC team and brand team leaders
  • Developing and leveraging deep insight of the needs of patients, HCPs, Payers and other stakeholders
  • Competitive intelligence and knowledge of the VBHC programs of competitors and leading companies
  • Responsible for parts of the strategy, projects and tasks with internal stakeholders, such as brand team, sales team, external affairs, regulatory and medical
  • Responsible for reporting, monitoring and optimization of adherence parameters
  • Responsible for independent-building and running (innovation) projects in favor of the VBHC strategy; this can be for both commercial and medical levels as well as for various stakeholders (physicians, patients, informal caregivers etc)
  • Translate other countries’ best practices in added value for new or current projects or project adjustments pan European
  • Development of strong network and sponsorship in the countries to support execution of the projects
  • Management of vendors and processes to execute on adherence projects

  • Academic education or experience from similar positions (life science, economics, communication science)
  • Ideally 3-4 years working experience in an international pharmaceutical company (marketing, sales, operations and/or project management), experience in the franchise area (hematology/oncology) are preferred
  • Knowledge of adherence tools, literature, techniques as well as adherence related problems and how to keep them up-to-date based on the patient flow and reasons for good and deficient adherence; understanding of the needs of patients and stakeholders
  • Experience with the development and establishment of adherence programs and activities or experience with the establishment of a loyalty program is preferred
  • Knowledge of multichannel management, marketing and financial processes and insight into business processes and its commercial aspects
  • Experience in the management of complex projects and in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Computer skills (MS Office programs)
  • Fluency in German and English, both oral and written
  • Effective communication skills at all levels both internally and externally
  • Self-starting approach, creativity and flexibility
