Project Description

Your Mission:  
To provide to internal departments, subsidiaries and distributors the highest level of software & hardware service support having in mind projects timelines and group goals, in compliance with Quality Assurance software requirements.    

Main Responsibilities

 Your Contributions  Responsible at Corporate level for:
 -Supporting daily Software (SW) and Hardware (HW) needs internally and on field
 -Serving the SW start-up phase for the new subsidiary
 -Ensuring the standardisation of Service through SW tools
 -Guaranteeing Corporate training activities, relating to IT SW and HW, related to Service Area (even if not on the instrumentation)
 -Monitor and control the service indicators for the relevant instrument lines, managed by Corporate Service sw tools
 -Take part in meetings with the service representatives of subsidiaries, for the purpose of presenting new IT SW and HW solutions and/or discussing problems regarding existing ones
 -Take part in meetings with SW and HW suppliers
 -Manage SW and HW validation process according with Corporate Quality Assurance guidelines
 -Supervise the development, improvement, maintenance and field support of activities relating to connection of instrumentation to final customers' laboratory ICT systems
 -Manage LIS and LAS protocols related to instruments automation.    

Qualifications Experience Personal Strengths Mobility
 Education: Bachelor’s Degree   
 Specialization:  Computer Science, Engineering   
 Experience: 3+ years experience as a Software Engineer.
 Working experience in IVD Industry is a plus    
Technical Competencies:   
  • Lifecycle software phases 
  • LIS (Laboratory Information System) 
  • LAS (Lab Automation System) 
  • ASTM 1381 and 1394 protocols 
  • HL7 
  • DBMS (Database Management System) knowledge preferred 
  • SQL (Structured Query Language) knowledge preferred     
  • Ability to manage projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines 
  • Ability to interpret and critique software needs and requirements with respect to service business implications 
  • Ability to conceptually organize and analyze data to derive key outcomes and messages to problem solving 
  • Trouble shooting skills 
  • Excellent communication skills and prompt internal / external customer response  
  • Service-oriented mentality and a strong focus on customer needs 
  • High problem-solving and decision-making capability 
  • Interdisciplinary thought and treatment

  • Well-organized, ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
