The Role of Amgen s Drug Substance Technologies (DST) Organization is to deliver robust processes and technologies for the manufacture of Drug Substance from early to late stage development, while partnering with our R&D, Clinical and Commercial colleagues. The Drug Substance Technologies and Engineering group is a part of DST and is principally concerned with translating developmental processes into commercial manufacturing reality through scientific expertise, engineering innovation and deployment of manufacturing technologies.This group, located at our Cambridge, Massachusetts site, is looking for an Undergraduate student interested in a 6 month Co-op placement. The Co-op will learn the principles of biologics manufacturing with a focus on novel filtration techniques, single use technologies, and process scale-up. The Co-op will have an opportunity to interact with scientists and engineers implementing new manufacturing technologies for multiple product modalities.
