The Training Coordinator job is responsible for ownership of training coordination and support of ComplianceWire administration at BioMarin in Galli Manufacturing.Responsibilities include:Partner with Galli Training Team to gather key information needed to coordinate learning and development programs and eventsCoordinate logistics for learning events including schedule, room, food, materials, registration, confirmations, transportation, materials reproduction and equipment arrangementsCommunicate appropriate program details to clients including training objectives, duration, date/time, and pre-work informationTrack costs related to training logistics and associated with training delivery and ensure alignment with overall budgetsDeliver excellent customer service to support Galli learning programsMaintain ownership of training events and course catalog informationMaintain the Galli Manufacturing Training calendarComplianceWire AdministrationMaintain a comprehensive knowledge base of system features and limitationsCollect, review, and enter training and trainee data accurately, and in a timely manner, in ComplianceWireFile and maintain training documentation for retrieval during site inspectionsReport on any data maintained in ComplianceWireIdentify issues and gaps with processes and ensure they are communicated to training managementPositive, can-do attitude and desire to learn new things a mustDemonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships throughout all levels of the organizationGeneral knowledge of training and development and the administrative support needed to support training eventsAbility to prioritize and organize high volume of work, ensuring attention to detail, and accuracy within the required timeframeProficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelAbility to work at a computer greater than 6 hours a dayAbility to lift, transport and deliver materials for logistic supportExcellent organizational, written and verbal communication and prioritization skillsAbility to think and work independently yet is an integral member of a teamGood judgment and problem solving skillsHigh degree of customer service with both internal and external customersDiplomatic, yet assertive when administering department policiesAble to set clear boundaries yet maintain positive outcomes/working relationshipsBachelor's degree preferred3-5 years of related work experience, project/program coordination experience preferred1-3 years of professional training or training support experience preferred#LI-DNI We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
