This individual is responsible for achieving / exceeding the sales targets for his / her territory (Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and North London), building quality relationships with customers and effectively implementing local sales plans.
Key role deliverables:
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets and efficiently manage territory related expenses.
Responsible for managing all Companion Animal Veterinary practices in a defined area of the UK/Ireland. This includes performing day to day activities of the territory and actively promoting the company and Elanco Animal Health products to ensure the success of the territory.
Responsible for launching new products to veterinary customers.
Implement sales actions and sales campaigns.
Maintains accurate records and documents activities and initiatives through the ETMS system on a daily basis.
Develop and implementing strategic sales, marketing and technical brand activities (roundtables, dinner meetings, lunch meetings, CPD events, etc.) in support of Elanco Companion Animal Brands.
Provide technical training and technical sales support to vet and veterinary staff members.
Handles routine administrative duties by utilising computer capabilities and software to complete call reports, forecasts, monthly reports, expense reports, etc.
Participate in all relevant local and regional veterinary conferences and trade shows as required, representing the company in a professional manner.
Mobility essential to travel across territory & have flexibility of nights away when required.

University Bachelor degree preferred (Agricultural, Life Science & Veterinary Science) or equivalent experience

Majority of traveling within the territory with occasional national travel
