Project Description


Purpose: 
The position of Technology Expert in the Energy Efficiency Team is responsible for leading the development and execution of the technical aspect of the Solwatt project (Energy & Carbon Management Services) as well as the energy asset project in order to optimize the energy and carbon footprint of an industrial site (internal and external clients). 
  

Responsibilities:   
The technology expert will be responsible, under the supervision of the team leader, on the site to: 
  • Carry out expert missions as part of the on-site audits in connection with the SOLWATT Leader, applying the methodologies and tools relevant (interviews , refunds, analysis, working group on industrial sites…)
  • Meeting the needs expressed by the team leader
  • Provide expertise (and presence) throughout the audit, to find adequate optimization solutions
  • Seek the help of referred experts based on issues raised by the audit
  • Contribute to improve the relevant methodologies based on referred experts 
  • Proactively contribute to the database’s enrichment (case studies, project costs, benchmarks, load curves) according to the process determined by the Experts of solwatt.
  • Assist the business development of energy related asset projects for both internal and external through technical due diligence, cost estimation, financial modelling and implementation planning 


Qualifications 
  • Bachelor degree and above, prefer major in energy, electrical, thermal or chemical  
  • 2 to 5 years work experience in the energy field 
  • Expertise in the energy including: 
    •  Conduct energy audits 
    • Knowledge in the field of primary energies to secondary energies transforming process, in energy efficiency and renewable energies 
    • Build & Analyze energy load curves and energy balances 
    •  In-depth knowledge in energy efficiency technology applied to boilers, waste heat recovery, air compressor, chillers, evaporation, and etc 
    • Analytical methods of energy distribution on industrial sites network 
    •  Dimensioning distribution network capacity  
    •  Knowledge of the CO2 impact and certification in energy reduction 
  • Excellent in oral & writing English
