Office Services duties (5-10%)
•Sort, deliver, collect, post and forward U.S. mail
•Maintain copiers, printers and Resource Centers supplied and filled
•Monitor and maintain pantry supplies, stock coffee, cups and dairy products
•Maintenance of storage areas and records
•Setup and cleanup conference rooms for meetings, seminars & luncheons
Shipping/Receiving duties
•Receive, log, distribute packages using tracking system
•Prepare outgoing shipments for various carriers
•Update SAP receiving records and maintain various logs

Lab Service duties (90-95%)
•Monitor and maintain liquid nitrogen and compressed gas supplies in labs
•Safely collect laboratory & medical waste and prepare for shipment
•Assist moving laboratory equipment, furniture and other bulk items
•Monitor and maintain lab consumables databases to include the replenishing of the Lab consumable supplies
•Monitor and maintain all cold storage units for the ACLS site
•Maintain various logs
•Collect purified water samples as per procedures
  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 1 year laboratory services related experience (e.g. lab set up, cleaning, stocking, regulated medical wast collection, handling compressed gas)
  • Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.
  • Associates degree credentials a plus
  • Organization and inventory experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Use of basic tools
  • Handling of compressed gas and cryogenic cylinders experience desirable
  • Able to lift 50lbs and to climb a ladder
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team setting
