|This entry level scientist position is in Diabetes and Complications Research. The applicant will be directly involved in a variety of drug discovery projects for metabolic/endocrine diseases. This position will primarily involve in vivo compound testing in various rodent models of diabetes, obesity and cardio-metabolic disease. The applicant must be a task-oriented and self-motivated worker who is capable of following research protocols with some guidance. |
High School / GED or Associates Degree in biology/animal science/veterinary technology with a minimum of 4 years of laboratory research experience in the handling of small laboratory animals, and some familiarity with basic lab techniques.
A minimum Bachelor's Degree with 1 year of laboratory research experience (handling of small laboratory animals, familiarity with basic lab techniques)
Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills Testing if applicable.
