Project Description

Role Objective 
  • Coordinating a variety of  different commercial activities within in a dynamic team
  • Reporting into the Head of BU Primary Care
  • Ensuring high quality and compliant conduct of marketing and sales activities

Your Tasks:
Proactive support of the marketing and in-field team: 
  • Coordination of promotional activities in pharmacies across Switzerland, implementing the annual production plan and supporting the Pharmacy Commercial Manager
  • Corresponding with customers (healthcare professionals) and other external stakeholders (e.g. vendors) from across CH, ensuring a positive experience with  our company. 
  • Finding solutions for internal and external customers by connecting relevant people with each other or by providing on the spot help and support
  • Supporting or managing (depending on complexity and scope) the creation and clearing of promotional material targeted at healthcare professionals (Rx, OTX) or patients/public (OTC, general awareness) 
  • Facilitating the overview and tracking of the entire marketing and sales budget including accruals and administration of bills, ensuring timely order management (e.g. for agency services)
  • Initiation of collaborative activities with healthcare organizations or healthcare professionals, creating and archiving contracts according to templates and our SOPs
  • Organize our company’s presence at national and regional educational events and congresses as well as company-initiated activities
  • Active participation in the cross-functional BU team incl. agenda management, minutes and follow-up of deliverables
  • Organization of internal and external meetings, including room reservations, invites, conference calls and WebEx sessions
  • Overseeing the production process of promotional material and ensuring sufficient stock levels for promotional material (Webshop), supporting the Head of the BU in managing the product sample stock at our wholesaler
  • Collaborate with assistants from other departments: 
    • Organization and conduct of internal activities and events across the branch office
    • Mail service for the branch office
    • Deputy for other departments during absences

Internal:  Marketing and in-field staff, Customer Service Center, Finance, Medical Department, Quality,  Order Management External: Agencies and other vendors, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, 

  • Professional education as Marketing Assistant / Pharma Assistant or similar
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as an Assistant 
  • Fluent written & spoken German and English plus proficient French
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office
  • Project management skills, solution-oriented mind-set
  • Identification with company  values

  • Ideally >2 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Communication & strong interpersonal skills 
  • Understanding the decision making units and an ability to manage complex networks
  • Innovative, develops new ways of working and uses these to differentiate from competition
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage both external and internal customers
  • Builds a collaborative network of relationships with people in a variety of functions, roles and locations and leverages formal and informal networks to accomplish the ambitious goals
