R-37899 Supply Chain Manager, Global Product Planner

Job Summary
The Supply Chain Manager, Global Product Planner will manage demand and supply planning for Commercial and Late Stage Pipeline products in Amgen s two Commercial planning systems (Rapid Response and SAP).

Responsibilities will include :
Reviewing demand and supply requirements against lifecycle management assumptions,
Initiating, tracking, and maintaining master data workflows, and
Driving 2-4 year production alignment across key material stages (drug substance, drug product, finished goods).

Lifecycle management activities to include:
New product introduction, technical transfers, regulatory commitments, and risk management initiatives while ensuring integration and alignment of regional and global supply.
Collaborate with Global Network Planning, Global Supply Chain Lead, Regional Supply Chain, and Site Supply Chain roles to ensure supply transition plan alignment.
Consolidate and facilitate key inventory system requirements such as Safety Stock Target, GR Times, Lot Sizes, Master data critical planning fields, and allocation of inventory locations.
Monitor key product specific global supply chain metrics and proactively look for opportunities for improvement and/or optimization.

The position includes project management skills- time line generation, action tracking, meeting facilitation, and effective communication skills. This position will develop effective relationships with partners across the Global, Regional, and Manufactuing Site supply chain.

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree OR
Master s degree and 2 years of Supply Chain experience OR
Bachelor s degree and 4 years of Supply Chain experience OR
Associate s degree and 10 years of Supply Chain experience OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Supply Chain experience

Preferred Qualifications:
6 years of related industry experience, with an understanding of demand, supply chain and logistics principles
Experience in working with integrated advanced ERP planning systems
Experience in working in an international environment, ability to liaise/communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and different cultures
Perseverance and Problem Solving Skills
Analytical and structured process improvement
APICS Certified (CPIM or CSCP)
Experience with using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Biotechnology pharmaceutical industry, strong technical analytical planning, project management, negotiation and facilitation skills; sound judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills;
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities simultaneously in a fluid environment with time pressures;
Ability to communicate across a wide range of staff levels and to operate in a team or matrixed environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in ERP systems (MRP, BOMs, Inventory Management, Materials/Production Master Data)
