Strategic MKT And Ops Manager
BU Governance and Operations (40%)
  • Operation Effectiveness and Visibility: Manage, lead and improve BU governance and integration effectiveness; set goals/objectives and establish visible methods to measure operational effectiveness. Insure visibility on progress on key initiatives. Work with BU AA to develop master calendar. Lead BULT meeting, PBRC, regional review, strategy workshop and drive follow up of action items.
  • Control and Monitor Risk: Partner with legal/compliance to conduct ongoing self-audits. Partner with leaders to establish management action plans
  • Evaluate Progress on Key BU Initiatives: Track, measure and monitor progress and results of key projects; partner with Diabetes leaders to tailor-make the level of support needed
  • Communication: Develop and implement a BU communications plan to engage BU employees and insure they are aware of key initiatives, changes, performance and strategy.

Lilly Diabetes Brand Management (50%)
  • Execution: Supervise and manage marketing program implementation. Develop promotional materials, including detailing aid, group selling slides, brand reminders, etc. Manage Lilly Diabetes OPEX Accountable for OPEX management.
  • Cross-functional communication: Work closely with sales, medical, PRA, access, distribution and other functions to ensure smooth implementation of marketing activities.
  • Training: Be responsible for Lilly Diabetes concept and marketing strategy training to sales force. Help Brand Manager to facilitate X-function workshop and brand campaign process
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Develop Brand strategy, tactic and programs to support Lilly Diabetes product as a whole growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Lilly Diabetes product market share in today’s highly competitive market.
  • TL management: Develop and maintain long-term relationship with key Lilly Diabetes product national TLs and advocates in key target markets
  • 3rd-party supervision: Manage the Ad, PR agencies and the 3rd party cooperation

Special Projects (10%)
  • Project Management: Lead, facilitate and/or support key BU projects
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree. MBA strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare or FMCG marketing
  • Critical thinking skills/strategic mindset and marketing planning expertise
  • Well organized and continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills including communication, collaboration and negotiation capabilities
  • Effective presentation and communication skills with pharma professionals, scientists, peers, and senior management
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams with and without formal authority
  • Self-Willingness to develop creative solutions to capture opportunities and overcome challenges
