The role holders primarily responsible for supporting the Director, Fort Dodge Site R&D to ensure consistent high standards of project and resource management supporting site VS&T operations.
  • Rules based decision making
  • Support Team Leader, VS&T in the facilitation of Time Line Workshops to ensure the establishment of robust plans for all new projects.
  • Support the Species Team PM’s in a periodic review all existing project plans and drive continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate resource allocation by the VS&T team.
  • Work with all the Species Team PM’s to ensure timely updating of Planisware, particularly with respect to Steering Committee decisions.
  • Support Director, Fort Dodge Site R&D and Director, Global Vaccines R&D Operations in interactions with internal partners (M&Q, TS-MS, RA, NPVA, Q) to ensure transparent communication and alignment on R&D activities with cross-functional implications.
  • Support Director VS&T and Director Global Vaccines R&D Operations to optimize business processes and establish best operational practices
  • High School Diploma/GED plus 5 years of project, software training and/or resource management experience; Associates degree plus 2 years of project, software training and/or resource management experience.
  • Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills Testing if applicable.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Eli Lilly and Company does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.
  • Demonstrated mastery of MS Project supported by significant experience of creating and managing complex project plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business discipline
  • Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Professional Project Management certification
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning and organization skills; Proven ability to work under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to identify and collaborate with key stakeholders across functions
  • Excellent oral and verbal communication and information management skills
