The Medication Management Solutions (MMS) business is a $2B global business, with leading share in Pharmacy Automation and IV Delivery technology throughout Acute Care Hospitals, Non-Acute Care, and Retail Pharmacies. Its primary focus is optimizing the medication use process and ensuring patient safety through a portfolio of medical devices, software, and analytics.

The Senior Marketing Manager will be an integral part of the Pyxis pharmacy technologies team and will be responsible for driving and supporting downstream marketing initiatives that support key business and growth objectives.

Job Description

Go to Market Strategy

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the healthcare environment, market trends, customer priorities, and competitive landscape to shape our go to market approach
  • Exhibits keen business understanding (customers, products, competitors)
  • Define market segmentation, value offer and competitive positioning to develop strategic marketing opportunities
  • Develop market messaging based on a deep understanding of the customer and market factors
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plan for pharmacy technology business
  • Responsible for pricing strategy and execution across pharmacy solutions

Commercial Excellence

  • Collaborate with sales and clinical teams to drive market share growth and solution penetration
  • Accountable for product launch planning and execution
  • Partner with HEOR to develop and execute evidence generation plans
  • Support sales training and sales collateral generation
  • Identify and develop KOLs and reference site engagements
  • Responsible for internal and external communication plans
  • Create training/education materials to be delivered to internal and external stakeholders
  • Support commercial teams through tradeshows, demos and customer presentations
  • Support efforts to harmonize key commercial processes (pricing, quoting, contracting, etc.)
  • Lead and/or support user groups for existing pharmacy technology customers
  • Support Product Lifecycle management


  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a preferred marketing specialization
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or product management
  • Strong downstream marketing competency
  • Strong knowledge of acute pharmacy environment
  • Healthcare / Pharmacy background
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with sales organizations and leading sales trainings
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experiencing presenting to internal and external teams
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
