We are looking for a Global Marketing Manager in the field of Healthcare Diagnostics and Life Science technologies. This is a leadership position to further advance company strategy in the field of Healthcare Informatics. While Healthcare Informatics has been a relatively new venture for our business unit, it provides a great opportunity for an experienced professional to quickly advance and shape future direction for this fast growing platform. With this position you will have the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and execute commercialization strategies, including pricing strategy, to successfully launch healthcare informatics products in different regions.
  • Manage all pre-launch commercialization activities. Collaborate with regions to develop marketing/sales materials to effectively position and market/sell Informatics solutions.
  • Support Sale specialists in all regions through product launch and post-launch. Sales and marketing tool development, educate about marketing& pricing strategy, positioning, & customer targeting
  • Own, manage and drive market development activities.
  • Develop and execute worldwide marketing plans, including market assessment, prioritization and development, clinical study identification and planning, etc.
  • Own a detailed understanding of competitive landscape and continually re-assess competitive hypotheses
  • Develop external relationships with key opinion leaders in the laboratory, public health, hospital, lean and other appropriate areas related to platform usage and adoption.
  • Define and champion brand strategy within organization and secure needed resources
  • Work closely with Healthcare Economics team to develop models and programs that will support and drive market adoption.
  • Support the Global Product Development System (GPDS) process as a core team member (CTM). Core team activities will include coordinating commercialization activities.
  • Effectively partner and collaborate with regional marketing leaders, upstream marketing, R&D, Clinical and Scientific Affairs, Business Development and other functions to ensure appropriate inputs into portfolio and marketing strategy.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business administration, computer science, or within a technical area of focus; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in worldwide strategic marketing, global marketing and product management in healthcare companies with a focus on platform development and commercial launch; preferably for informatics products.
  • Experience developing and operationalizing SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) pricing model
  • Experience with one or more of the following informatics related technologies – LIS/EMR/Middleware, HL7/ASTM, Data Analytics
  • Demonstrated skills in development and execution of successful new product launch plans that have provided rapid, global, market penetration and uptake in fast moving, competitive markets.
  • Strategic agility and action oriented with the ability to drive results
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and implementation skills; proven analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable plans; demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing and product strategies, convert them into tactical marketing plans, execute and deliver results.
  • Creative out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious, stays current on new trends, and takes calculated risks with novel ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-culturally.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills - written and oral - for a wide variety of audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop strong relationships with, customers, advisory boards, and potential or existing business partners.
  • Leadership presence with ability to utilize organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to effectively negotiate and persuade others, comfortable with complex and matrixed-team environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities. Ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing.
  • Understanding of clinical laboratory workflow and operations preferred
  • Flexibility to travel globally to regions and customer sites  up to 25% of the time
