This position will lead global product strategy for epacadostat in melanoma. The position will be responsible for building and implementing the global plan to drive maximum launch potential. The candidate will work collaboratively with global, regional, and cross-functional stakeholders to build and lead global brand and disease area strategies in support of epacadostat in melanoma. The position will report to the Group Vice President Global Product Strategy.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross functional commercialization team to develop and implement the global launch plan and key initiatives including global brand and disease strategy, core brand positioning and messaging, promotional tools and tactics, training, presence at international meetings, and other key activities
  • Support the development of a global value, access, and pricing strategy

  • Lead the development of a long-term life cycle plan for epacadostat in melanoma; ensure plan addresses high unmet patient needs in key global markets and is fully integrated into broader immuno-oncology portfolio strategy
  • Participate in immuno-oncology portfolio planning and management activities with other GPS stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain a high degree of therapeutic area knowledge; becoming the commercial expert for assigned disease areas

  • Support competitive intelligence initiatives

  • Develop and manage market opportunity assessments and global forecasts

  • Develop relationships with key external experts

  • Represent GPS in key cross-functional decision-making meetings

  • Ensure seamless sharing of information, best practices, and lessons learned across the organization

  • Perform all company business in accordance with regulations and company policies and procedures


Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced business degree strongly preferred

  • 15+ years commercial brand leadership or global product launch experience including management of teams

  • Extensive oncology experience; melanoma experience preferred

  • Experience working in both global and regional/affiliate roles; international experience preferred

  • Significant familiarity with drug development process

  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and to interact with senior leadership

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations for business growth

  • Superior communication skills and the ability to synthesize and communicate complex information

  • Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and lead change, gain commitment to action
