Description
  • This position is the head of the statistics group of Asia Pacific region, which supports projects in the AP region (e.g. China, Japan, Korea) and globally, and from discovery, development/submission, to post-market/life cycle management.
  • Key contact to engage and collaborate, together with BARDS AP site head, with statistics research group leads in US/EU/Japan and other key stake holders, e.g. therapeutic head in clinical research and regulatory affairs globally and regionally.
  • A member of leadership team of the global late development statistics organization.
  • Core reviewer of China Development Review Committee, interacting with the head of the China R&D, clinical head, and regulatory head of China Development Center.
  • Represent the statistics group from our company  in external scientific/professional activities in China.

Qualifications
Required Education/Experience:
  • PhD or equivalent degree in Statistics / Biostatistics or related discipline with a minimum of (9) years relevant work experience
  • Supervisory experiences. Demonstrated the ability to work effectively with personnel with different functional background and at all levels.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies, clinical trial designs, and statistical and data processing software e.g. SAS and/or R.
  • Solid knowledge of worldwide (including AP region, e.g. China, Japan, Korea) regulatory requirements and clinical trial expertise from phase II to V.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in statistical research activities and in application of novel methods to clinical trial development.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Publications in peer reviewed statistical/medical journals
