Project Description

This global scientific communications position supports Medical Information contact center operations, processes, and systems including internal databases, external websites and would be responsible for supporting provisioning, reporting, and business administration as related to contact center operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a matrix environment on cross-functional teams that are focused on supporting Amgen s Medical Information contact centers. This role liaises between the MedInfo contact center team and other departments and functions, specifically GRAAS, Quality, R&D Compliance, Commercial, Trade Operations, and Scientific Affairs Training to drive cross-functional alignment and consistency.Specific Job Duties include: Liaison with contact center vendor for operational support, including staffing, telephony, system access and training requests; Data Monitoring & Management (e.g., Flag inconsistencies and or deviations to the appropriate teams); Support audits and audit readiness as related to MedInfo systems and processes; Support/facilitate contact center meetings; and serve as point of contact/liaison for external vendor partners as related to intake of medical information requests. Some travel may be required  approximately 10%.Basic Qualifications Master s degree ORBachelor s degree and 2 years of Scientific Communications experience ORAssociate s degree and 6 years of Scientific Communications experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Scientific Communications experiencePreferred QualificationsAmgen experienceBachelor s degree in life sciences or business, or a related field with 4+ years  experience working on projects with project management tools and processes (e.g., MS Project)Proficient with the entire suite of MS Office2+ years  experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare environmentOutstanding organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentFlexible, take initiative and works well independently and in teams.Experience in contact center roleAmgen is an Equal Opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
