As a member of the US Value & Access team, the Access & Reimbursement Operations (ARO) Specialty Pharmacy Program Manager, reports in to the Director ARO Specialty Pharmacy Programs team and is a dotted line to the Product Team (Enbrel or Repatha). This role is responsible for being fully integrated in the product team in order to translate product requirements into specialty pharmacy tactics including programs and services across pharmacies. The Program Manager is accountable for program performance across contracted pharmacies for a specific brand (Enbrel or Repatha). As part of a broader management team, the Program Manager will partner with the SP Director and Brand Leads to influence business unit decision makers, or function leads to drive strategies and tactics to effectively consult and make recommendations to senior management on significant issues, prepare and present project updates, and exercises independent judgement in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Job DescriptionServe as the primary point of contact for the Brand team for programs across all SPs on implementation of contracted programs, including operations and performance management Liaison with the SP Customer Facing Team to gather insights from SPs, deploy programs, and monitor contract performance and quality Lead the planning, tracking and implementation of Specialty Pharmacy programs by serving as the business unit liaison with cross functional teamsSupport the implementation of complex projects spanning across business units where research/analysis requires evaluation of business requirements, development of achievable short/long term objectives, and coordination of interdependent activities to ensure the successful implementation of program initiatives Support access team with creation of specialty pharmacy tools required for pharmacy use or for internal training, or HCP/patient use Report program performance against expectation and influence changes to programs to improve competitive position and optimize performanceLead or help develop program or project scope statements including SOW/ contract langauge, in consultation with applicable stakeholders (e.g., Brand Teams, RAV, OCT, GSS, and Legal)Establish/apply quality objectives, criteria, standards and levels using appropriate quality management methods, with stakeholder input (e.g., key performance indicators, scope definition Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degreeMaster s degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or Access and Reimbursement experienceOR Bachelor s Degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or Access and Reimbursement experienceOR Associate s degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or Access and Reimbursement experienceOR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or Access and Reimbursement experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience relevant to Products: Enbrel and Repatha, or in respective therapeutic class Specialty Pharmacy, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), or health plan experiencePrevious Field, Access and Reimbursement experience from a program development, marketing, sales, or operational standpoint Prior managed health plan, pharmacy benefit and specialty drug management experience preferred Understanding of managed care and pharmacy benefit cost management levers preferred Analytic experience Microsoft Excel skills (ability to create and troubleshoot calculations), attention to detail Project management experience preferred ability to track complex projects and bring tasks to completion on time and within budget Process management experience the ability to document processes and improve them to eliminate waste Communication skills strong spoken and written communication skills to translate Amgen business requirements into operational programs at a partner operation, and ability to effectively navigate to win-win agreements across diverse internal and external partner groups Ability to work through others and mange in a matrix environmentAmgen is an Equal Opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
