Operations Information Systems (OIS) Global Commercial Supply Chain group is responsible for driving Commercial Supply Chain business with business process excellence by leveraging people, technology and process implementations. OIS operates as a bridge between technology delivery team and the business.
Key Activities for the Specialist IS Business System Analyst include:
Contribute to the success of Operations IS functions by making fundamental improvements in how information is managed and business processes are operated
Leverage the combination of prior experience, problem solving skills, and client engagement skills to drive supply chain business towards excellence as well as research new applications and services.
Establish networks with business partners in the Supply Chain functional areas and engages them to create and maintain a service to achieve the strategic vision
Serving as a key IS contact for business partners to provide expertise in business requirements reviews, research new applications and services to improve business capabilities
Partners with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements
Manage multiple initiatives and priorities and takes accountability of delivery of technical solutions to business
Perform cross system analysis, feasibility analysis, scope projects, prioritize deliverables, and recommend optimal solution
Leads internal as well as external workforce as needed and manages third party vendors and contingent workers
Travel: International and domestic travel of up to 25% maybe essential
Master’s degree and 3 years of Information Systems and Business Analysis experience
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Information Systems and Business Analysis experience
Associate’s degree and 10 years of Information Systems and Business Analysis experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems and Business Analysis experience
Solid understanding of supply chain business processes
Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and team-oriented, placing priority on the success
Consulting experience or management consulting experience highly preferred
Solid understanding of business process mapping, requirement gathering, six sigma methodology
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate with Business users in non-technical language
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP, preferably SAP) and Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Experience building productive working relationships across different functions/organizations
Strong leadership, project management, and organizational change management skills
Highly analytical with attention to detail
