Specialist Information Systems - Business Systems Analyst
The Specialist Business Systems Analyst serves as internal point of contact for flow of information between team members and reports to Senior Manager Information Systems at its Capability Center in Tampa, FL. The engagement team is responsible for ensuring that client business needs are captured, then delivered in a timely and effective manner. This team also works on the continuous improvement process.
Key Activities for the Specialist IS - Business Systems Analyst include:
Partners with the Service Owner, peer full-time employees, and managed service provider in the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of the technology service
Ensures service is aligned with the key principles of service ownership which includes: meeting the needs of the business, cost effectiveness, scalability, compliance, reliability, and resilience
Works with team members, establishes in-depth knowledge-sharing of GBS Technology Services operations including financial reporting
Manages the billing and invoice processing for Cloud services
Participates in team efforts directed at advancing development and technology programs within the department then report progress to senior business and IS leadership
Ensures compliant documentation with supporting detail
Works independently, function as a knowledge resource for less experienced colleagues while providing oversight using best practices and change management discipline to improve systems and services
Creates compelling business cases with cost estimation accuracy, then translates complex business processes into clear, actionable steps for successful execution of business capability delivery while converting business functionality into applicable requirements.
Troubleshoots problems that may arise in work products, then partners with software engineers and quality analysts to identify course of resolutions
Master's Degree and 3 years of Information Systems experience
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of Information Systems experience
Associate's degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience
High school diploma/GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience
Demonstrated experience in tracking and managing Amgen financial systems and process documents, working in EDM Quality, maintaining controlled document and key documentation inventory as well as monitoring audit management corrective actions
Demonstrated excellent working knowledge of SAP, ServiceNow and Sharepoint
Demonstrated excellence in organizational skills, leadership, multitasking, persuasion, negotiation of critical issues, a strong attention to detail, and solid an understanding of business complexity
Proven consultative skills engaging people throughout an organization while working in a fast-paced high-performance team environment
Proven analytical, data-driven problem solving skills with an aptitude for experimental troubleshooting displaying intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas
Exceptional proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Proven experience delivering agile solutions within a regulated environment while maintaining rigorous compliance standards
Previous demonstrated experience mentoring junior colleagues
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
