Source to Pay Technology Senior Manager - United States
The Source to Pay Technology Senior Manager will be the business owner for Amgen's Source to Pay (S2P) function. This Senior Manager partners with the Procure to Pay process owner, Regional Service Delivery Leads, Global Strategic Sourcing, IS and Technology providers to continuously solicit feedback and implement improvements.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Manger include:
Provides business requirements during system development
Defines the business use of the Source-to-Pay systems including Ariba and SAP
Ensures the system is fit for its intended use and security controls meet requirements, based on the criticality of the process
Assesses business impact and approves changes to the process the system supports
Partners with finance and Source-to-Pay leadership to obtain funding for changes to systems; manages and tracks project budgets
Ensures sufficient controls are in place to maintain the integrity of the data in the system
Supports security access reviews
Identifies the regulatory impact and requirements of the business process the system supports and to ensure that the system does not violate any regulatory or Amgen requirements
Responds to an inspection or an audit and defend use of a system or process for a regulated system
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Supply Chain, IT or Finance experience
Master’s degree and 6 years of Supply Chain, IT or Finance experience
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Supply Chain, IT or Finance experience
Associate’s degree and 10 years of Supply Chain, IT or Finance experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Supply Chain, IT or Finance experience
Bachelor’s degree in, business, or any other highly quantitative discipline
6 or more years’ experience in Source to Pay Technology (preference for past experience with Ariba and SAP)
Demonstrated experience working with 3rd Party systems providers
Experience working for a Global corporation
Experience in managing stakeholders through change
Managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources
Possesses expert knowledge of core S2P technology and good knowledge of ancillary system and integration points
Experience in preparing executive communication to include written and oral presentations
Demonstrated experience in technology improvement programs
Ability to influence at all levels with a customer service mindset
Ability to take initiative and work within an autonomous environment
Experience in leading teams
