Job Description
Lead the maintenance of the facilities functions to effectively execute plant projects and operations.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  •  Develop and execute facilities plan  
  •  Participate in capital and engineering projects related to the facilities  
  •  Lead the Site Electrical Safety Program  
  •  Drive continuous improvement process for facilities services 
  •  Manage site services budget  
  •  Knowledge of capital expenditure process 
  •  Lead training and standardization initiatives 
  •  Develop and administer site facilities polices 
  •  Monitor and promote safe work environment and quality standards 
  •  Maintain effective Supplier contact 
  •  Thorough knowledge of equipment 
  •  Knowledge of MSDS and safety procedures 
  •  PC proficiency and Maintenance systems knowledge (CMMS) 
  •  Equipment specification, identification 
  •  Acts in compliance with all company policies including, but not limited to:  Quality, Safety, Food/Feed Safety, Environmental, GMPs, and HACCP 
  •  Responsible for adherence to all quality systems including, ISO 9001, ISO 22000 Food Safety and FAMI-QS with an understanding of our company Corporate Quality policies and procedures



Job Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  •  BS degree in Engineering Sciences with 1-3 year of industrial maintenance/facilities/manufacturing experience or 5 plus years of industrial maintenance/facilities/manufacturing experience.  
  •  Thorough knowledge of one skill area and working knowledge in others (mechanical, electrical and instrumentation)  
  •  Electrical knowledge preferred  
  •  Systematic decision making, problem solving and troubleshooting skills 
  •  Leadership (delegation, coaching, confronting, conflict resolution, problem solving and providing feedback) 
  •  Interpersonal skills (oral and written communication) 
  •  Project Management 
  •  Planning/Organizing 
  •  Planning and scheduling 
  •  Advanced math skills 
  •  Data analysis


WORK CONDITIONS:
