Basic Summary

We are seeking a (Senior) Veterinary Pathologist for our Safety Assessment site located in Tranent, Scotland, UK.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The main duties related to the (Senior) Veterinary Pathologist position will be the gross and histopathological evaluation of toxicology studies.  This involves working closely with toxicologists and other experts in the interpretation of preclinical study data and writing the pathology contribution to preclinical reports for our clients for submission to regulatory authorities. The Company serves the human pharmaceutical, animal health and agrochemical sectors.


Education: Veterinary degree and postgraduate experience in pathology

Experience: Histopathology and necropsy experience within the Pharmaceutical industry

Certifcation / Licensure: Board certification by the Royal College of Pathologists, ACVP or ECVP would be advantageous, otherwise a willingness to study for the examinations will be a requirement.
