Engage in new product introduction and technology transfer for Pharmaceutical Dry Products, including active participation in forums for the disciplines or departments that are impacted.Use technical language and knowledge of scientific research related to dry products manufacturing and materials to assess and evaluate material performance in dry product manufacturing. Perform statistical analysis to manage, evaluate and understand available data related to technical investigations, improvement projects and/or materials characterization studies performed at the laboratory. Identify and promote continuous improvement initiatives, while fostering and ensuring robust capable and in-control processes. Ensure sound scientific rational is used in technical issues resolution, as part of process investigations. Use scientific background, chemical, mathematical and theoretical concepts to monitor, evaluate and optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes including: wet granulation, dry granulation, compression, coating, and continuous manufacturing while reacting preventatively to reduce potential processing issues.33726BR
Requires a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related field.
Work or academic experience must have included the following: Monitoring, analyzing and optimizing pharmaceutical dry products manufacturing processes, including wet granulation, dry granulation, compression, and coating; Designing and executing experimental studies for pharmaceutical dry product manufacturing processes, technologies, and equipment; Physicochemical characterization and development of pharmaceutical materials; Statistical analysis of manufacturing in-process and laboratory data; Technical investigations and troubleshooting for manufacturing processes and equipment; Continuous manufacturing in the pharmaceutical industry including Process Analytical Technologies (PAT).
