MSD’s Manufacturing Division (MMD) coordinates a complex network in the manufacture and distribution of our products. This role will be a key participant in MMD’s objectives: highest quality, shortest lead time, lowest cost and will contribute to transformation of our Supply Chain capabilities.

The Senior Technical Analyst Supply Chain will work as a member of the MMD IT team in our global IT hub in Prague. This person will be responsible for Identifying, assessing and solving complex business problems as they relate to Supply Chain Planning and also will assume responsibilities as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for all data integrations to and from Supply Chain Planning applications and systems.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Work with the business to perform business process analysis, project scope definition / chartering, requirements elicitation and documentation, testing planning and coordination, and requirements coverage through traceability to requirements
• Work closely with various stakeholders in MMD, IT leadership and peers to understand the key business capabilities required, assess the current state, and align target state with the business strategy
• Cooperate with Architects, Project Teams to facilitate alignment among architecture decisions and with IT technical team to create, change or modify any required systems/application interfaces
• Lead the systems analysis and design on supply chain projects and programs
• Engage with business leads to gather and understand solution requirements
• Develop and produce technical designs, strategy documents and other technical artifacts
• Facilitate and manage evaluations and proof of concept activities as subject matter expert
• Ensure technology solutions are production ready and meet the organization standards
• Be responsible for the oversight and resultant work product of external resources, such as contractors and consultants
• Design and create reports for Planning Applications

Qualifications

In order to perform well you should posses:

• At least 5 years of experience in the area of Information Technology, especially in data analysis and system implementation
• Good knowledge of the area of Supply Chain planning systems
• Focus on business/system analysis or consultancy and good overview in technical design, development and implementation
• Knowledge of Rapid Response or SAP (especially APO module) would be a great advantage as well as experience with Oracle database
• APICS/ APICS certification would be more than welcome
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Management or Information Technology or related degree
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Self-starter skills as well as ability to work independently
