Reporting to the Associate Director of Training
& Health Education, the Senior Specialist, Training will:
training sessions &/or conduct train-the-trainer sessions for the Merck
Canada Hospital and Specialty Care Business Unit
with Business Managers, Medical and Marketing on the integration and training
of new representatives and representatives that are new to brand (anti-viral
with the Product Managers to understand and support brand strategies and
tactics through training initiatives (including new product launches)
needs assessments to guide the direction and development of future training
blended learning solutions in line with business and development needs
and improve existing training material on an annual basis or as needed

A University Degree in business administration, biomedical science, pharmacy or

3-5 years of sustained high performance in pharmaceutical sales,
hospital/specialty sales an asset; 2 or more years of experience in Training.
Experience and knowledge in anti-virals and anti-infectives an asset.
