As part ofour team, you ll have the opportunity to collaborate with talented anddedicated colleagues while developing and expanding your career.Reporting to the Associate Director of Training& Health Education, the Senior Specialist, Training will:- Facilitatetraining sessions &/or conduct train-the-trainer sessions for the MerckCanada Hospital and Specialty Care Business Unit- Partnerwith Business Managers, Medical and Marketing on the integration and trainingof new representatives and representatives that are new to brand (anti-viraland anti-infective)- Liaisewith the Product Managers to understand and support brand strategies andtactics through training initiatives (including new product launches)- Conductneeds assessments to guide the direction and development of future trainingassets- Designblended learning solutions in line with business and development needs- Reviewand improve existing training material on an annual basis or as needed- Performall other related dutiesQualifications- Education:A University Degree in business administration, biomedical science, pharmacy oreducation. Professional certification inAdult Education an asset.- Experience:3-5 years of sustained high performance in pharmaceutical sales,hospital/specialty sales an asset; 2 or more years of experience in Training.Experience and knowledge in anti-virals and anti-infectives an asset.- Thoroughunderstanding of the Company's business and the impact of Training on theorganization.- Abilityto build trust with clients and colleagues thus contributing to a workenvironment that fosters effective working relationships and facilitates change.- ProjectManagement experience and skills.- Superiorpresentation / facilitation / communication skills (both verbal and written).- Proficientwith Windows, Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet environment.- Language: Bilingual (French / English, verbal andwritten)Our employees are the key to our company's success.
