Senior Manager, MPS-BUS002058DescriptionThe Senior Manager, MPS (P4) is a well competent individual contributor with deep MPS and HPO capabilities responsible for planning, driving continuous improvement across the site with prioritized activities from the site portfolio. The holder of this position is responsible for utilizing end to end MPS lean principles (operating system, management system, mindset/behavior and culture) to realize business benefits and goals aligned to the site Hoshin. Together with the MPS toolkit, the incumbent is expected to effectively utilize HPO skills/ knowledge to ensure proper change management and improvement sustainability.The incumbent is to develop competency by deploying self-learning, performing activities and coaching. He/She is responsible to co-develop the MPS team with the Senior Manager, MPS (M2) to achieve True North MPS by building deep MPS and HPO capabilities in the team members. The team members are envisioned as future coachers to the site for MPS and HPO related competency.The incumbent is also responsible for supporting assigned IPT/COE improvement activities in these areas. He/She will be partnering and be accountable with the IPT/COE Leaders/Leads/SME to delivering sustainable results for these activities.Other main responsibilities include:Manufacturing Excellence* Supports on KPI management with the site portfolio and ensures alignment to site Hoshin goals for CI Projects* Leads site wide improvement project (initiative or project lead) responsible for supporting the program lead aimed at achieving business goals for the program A3* Process steward for the site. Senior Manager, MPS (P4) focuses on end to end MPS execution (operating systems, management systems, mindsets/behaviors and cultures).* Owner of MPS standards and ensuring harmonized standards are met across site. The incumbent is to diligently maintain the site standards and ensure there is no deviation from standards without this incumbent approval. Expect to utilize MPS toolkit (e.g. MPS assessment) to re-align site standards and establish action targets.* Be seen as deep lean expert, with in-depth skills and knowledge in MPS/HPO tools, techniques, and standards. He/She is to own core MPS SME knowledge area/s and continuously develop deep knowledge utilizing the MPS-SR Competency Matrix and the Dreyfus Competency Model.* Leverages regional MPS-SR experts as coachers to continue to build deep MPS knowledge. Also, be competent coachers to functional personnel to continuously develop MPS skills and knowledge across site.* Supports MPS COE as key people development platform for future site lean leaders tied to Talent Management Program.* Support assigned IPT/COE with the following focused areas:
