Senior Lean Process Engineer, Supply Operations, Franklinton, NC
In this role, you will help lead your colleagues across Franklinton Operations (FO) on our LEAN journey. You will lead projects, activities, and workshops to improve workflow delivering improvements in cost, time, and variation. You will be an advocate for LEAN and assist the FO management in implementing a LEAN culture. You will also develop methods and/or specify equipment that improves safety, cycle time, productivity, quality, and repeatability utilizing Lean techniques and team building skills. You will improve operational performance utilizing data driven project models, such as Six Sigma and Root Cause Analysis and along with the FO management team, you will ensure gains are sustained. You will also develop LEAN and data driven problem solving competencies within Franklinton Operations.
In this position you need to have:
Demonstrated success in process improvements utilizing Lean Manufacturing Tools and Processes or Six Sigma / DMAIC methodologies
Minimum LEAN or Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt strongly preferred. If not certified, commits to achieve this within a year in role.
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, advanced degree or engineering degree a plus 10+ years’ experience in an appropriate manufacturing environment
Must be a self-starter and like to take the lead, driving processes
High personal energy and initiative
Ability to successfully build and lead cross functional teams
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
