Project Description

Senior Business Analyst 
  • We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to participate in our ongoing success as a profitable, fast-growing, socially responsible company dedicated to Global Health.
  •  As the Senior Business Analyst, you will support activities to deliver insights and business case development to successfully pursue new partnering and investment opportunities. 
  • The scope encompasses several therapeutic areas in multiple markets (US, EU, RoW). 

  • Conduct market research and in-depth analysis to help Business Development and Executive teams to make sound strategic decisions 
  • Prepare and communicate information regarding markets, partners, potential partners and competitors to the Business Development team to help refine partner and product strategies and related objectives 
  • Participate in the preparation of business cases and business development objectives, specifically related to sales projections and the associated rationales for use in the development of company’s strategic plan and short-term, medium-term and long-term forecasts 
  • Research, analyze and report on primary market trends and their growth drivers 
  • Conduct business intelligence research independently and prepare reports for company leadership and colleagues 
  • Undertake marketing studies to analyze and determine potential markets as part of new product assessment 
  • Analyze marketing impact of technology acquisitions and extensions 
  • Provide market potential information as part of corporate development initiatives (bank loans, IPO, other corporate financing options) 
  • Prepare market potential data and presentations for use in new partnership development efforts  

Experience / Education 
  • Scientific degree or Master’s degree in business and / or marketing 
  • At least 5 years Business Analyst experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in a consulting agency specialized in the pharmaceutical market  

Marketing Skills   
  • Ability to think strategically about markets, products, partners, and end users within the pharmaceutical field 
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize and interpret information to identify opportunities 
  • Knowledge of the hospital market and retail market 
  • Experience in marketing studies and forecasting methodologies  

Leadership Skills 
  • Experience in working effectively with international teams 
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, problem solving skills with can-do approach and ownership 
  • Ability to achieve results without hierarchical authority  

Project Management Skills 
  • Ability to accurately estimate time for specific tasks 
  • Ability to plan sequential and / or concurrent activities 
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets 
  • Ability to determine priorities within project plan 
  • Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously  

Communication Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of colleagues 
  • Fluency in English and French 
  • Ability to write professional documents in English  

Information Technology 
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, email, internet usage 
  • Proficiency in use of market research databases
