Project Description

  • We are currently searching for a Senior Associate Project Management – Value-based Partnership to join our European Headquarters.
  • The purpose of the role is to oversee and coordinate all operational aspects of European Value-based Partnership project management to ensure disciplined pipeline and process management, proposal quality and consistency, alignment and delivery.

  • Facilitate Value-based Partnerships Planning Process and proposal development
  • Work with EU Franchise teams and countries to develop pipeline proposals
  • Support proposal/business case development, including basic analytics
  • Support the execution of partnerships, with occasional direct contact to support staff in partner organization
  • Develop and communicate Value-based Partnership progress around key milestones for EU and Global reporting
  • Lead development of comprehensive EU Value-based Partnership inventory, with regular updating
  • Lead the Value-based Partnership sub-team process coordinating with EU Value-based Healthcare/Innovation Teams
  • Participate in EU Innovation team discussions and highlight inter dependencies and synergies with Value-based Healthcare and innovation projects
  • Lead resource financial planning and support managing EU Value-based Partnership budget
  • Develop and support all EU submissions to Partnership Avenue Determination
  • Serve as a single point of contact for managing timelines & deliverables (content and quality) and escalate program issues, as appropriate
  • Capture and synthesize Value-based Partnership case studies and best practices  to build knowledge
  • Manage meetings, including contribution to Value-based Partnership /Value-based Healthcare Steering Committee agendas
  • Document issues, decisions & action items of meetings – and ensure disciplined follow-up

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or related studies
  • 3-5 years of Project Coordination and Project Management experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including the ability to demonstrate project completion
  • Experience in management of external vendors and partners
  • Knowledge of clinical projects and/or scientific or functional knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to work successfully in a cross-functional team, including interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and succeed in a highly matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication skills, strong oral/written presentation skills
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written communications, German and/or French language skills are a plus
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Project)
