Project Description

This role will be part of Amgen’s Global Source to Pay Operations organization within Global Business Services. The Source to Pay Governance Senior Associate is responsible for partnering with the Procure to Pay Process Owners, Regional Contract to Pay service owners, Global Strategic Sourcing and other functions to ensure Amgen is meeting and exceeding agreed upon service levels and facilitating implementation of continuous improvement projects. This position reports to the Source to Pay Operations lead.

Key Activities include:

Resolves escalations in the vendor master process by contacting appropriate parties, including the BPO, suppliers and end users of the S2P process
Ensures compliance to the vendor master structure, process, and policy
Responsible for ensuring vendor master records are cleansed verifying the appropriate process and structure of data is in place
Participates in any audit activities regarding the vendor master
Periodically reviews vendor master records to identify duplicate records and other vendor record issues and updates accordingly
Oversight of Amgen’s vendor master records
Manage the creation of Amgen inter-company vendor accounts
Monitor vendor master quality reports and conduct any ad hoc reporting requests on Vendor Master Data.

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree
OR
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Finance experience
OR
Associate's degree and 6 years of Finance experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of finance experience

Preferred Qualifications

2 or more years’ experience in Procure to Pay processes / Vendor Master
Experience in maintaining and updating project management documentation
Good data-driven analytical skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems
Ability to take initiative and work within an autonomous environment.
