Responsibilities

BASIC SUMMARY:

Prepare SEC reports and schedules in compliance with regulations and in accordance with GAAP.  Coordinate with other groups within the company including Investor Relations, Sales, Marketing, Operations and business units to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data.  Review and analyze aggregated financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and practices. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  
Ensure that the company’s public financial statements and other SEC filings are of the highest standards of quality, GAAP-compliant and useful to management and the investing public.
Manage quarterly and annual process for filing the Form 10-Q and 10-K (Edgar and XBRL), including drafting and reviewing documents, ensuring quality, coordinating review by management, legal counsel and independent accountants while adhering to strict timelines.
Prepare, review and file other periodic SEC documents, including, but not limited to Form 8-K, S-3, S-8 and Section 16 reporting requirements.
Maintain external reporting calendar including scheduling and coordination of independent auditors and tax advisors.
Coordinate with Investor Relations to prepare earnings releases, including pro forma results, as well as investor presentations.
Manage worldwide standardized financial reporting system to provide senior management with summary level l financial results on a current basis.
Ensure that the company remains in compliance with Financial Accounting Standards Board financial accounting and reporting standard and other regulatory accounting standards.
Manage communications with external auditors on external financial statements to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on disclosures and reporting issues.
Research new regulations, pronouncements and internal technical issues and assist in implementation of solutions.
Identify sustainable strategic improvements, suggest corrective actions, coordinate implementation and track efficiencies achieved.  
Identify process improvements and assist in the implementation of related processes and controls.  
Identify improvements that will positively impact corporate success and fully comply with objectives and regulations.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in accounting or related discipline.  Masters Degree in Business Administration is beneficial.
Experience:  Six to eight years related experience with at least three of the required years with a national or regional CPA firm and/or commercial company with consolidation.  Experience with international accounting and financial reporting required.  
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Certification/Licensure:  CPA strongly preferred.
