|Job Description||The Protein Analytical development (AD) group is seeking a Scientist I at our RTP, NC location to support protein clinical product development. The candidate will provide expertise and knowledge in method development, method troubleshooting, and implementation of new technologies. The candidate should have extensive experience and knowledge in analytical methods such as mass spectrometry, chromatography, electrophoresis and carbohydrates.|
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and qualify analytical methods for protein therapeutics using mass spectrometry and chromatography techniques.
• Perform extended protein characterization using innovative methodologies.
• Review and troubleshoot analytical methods.
• Develop and implement new analytical technologies for protein characterization.
• Publish in scientific journals and/or present at internal or external scientific meetings.
• Author method development and characterization reports, technical memos, and SOPs.
• Represent and/or support AD in project teams.
