As part ofour team, you ll have the opportunity to collaborate with talented anddedicated colleagues while developing and expanding your career.Reporting to the District Business Manager  Kitchener/London/Windsor/North Ontario, the incumbent's responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Achieving sales andbusiness objectives within the designated territory;- Developing and implementingintegrated action plans to promote products to physicians and otherhealthcare professionals and to achieve organizational goals;- Demonstrating ownershipfor the business on his/her assigned territory by understanding fully thehealthcare environment, assessing and identifying the key customers(Health Care Professionals) and by engaging in the right mix of activitiesin support of assigned product(s) while ensuring a customer focusedapproach, including proper documentation of each customer interaction;- Collaborating with otherSales Representatives and working cross-functionally with Merck colleaguesto consolidate plans aimed at addressing customer and organizational needsand optimizing patient management;- Representing Merck in acomplex business environment that is constantly being shaped bycompetitive activities, government legislation and technologicaldevelopments;- Completing his/her tasksin a manner fully consistent with Merck's program "Our Values andStandards", policies, procedures, Code of Ethical Practices(Rx&D), industry standards, and all laws and regulations.The Sales Representative models and demonstrates the MerckLeadership behaviors and Sales & Account Management Competencies in allassociations with peers, internal clients and external partners.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree- Proven track record of sales success in thepharmaceutical industry- Results driven, perseverant, and strong sense ofentrepreneurship- Strong customer focus and collaboration skills- Strong knowledge of therapeutic, competition andindustry- Strong knowledge of industry standards, laws andregulations- Ability to analyze, plan, implement and control(APIC)- High level of business integrity and ethics- Valid Driver's license- Excellent communication skills (verbal andwritten)- Language: English (French would be an asset)Our employees are the key to our company's success.
