Receiving goods and services in the R2P system
Ensuring vendors are paid.
The position requires working closely with scientists and support functions at multiple sites in the U.S. and with our offshore issue resolution team in India to resolve issues arising in the R2P process and to help educate NIBR associates about R2P systems and processes.
R2P Issue Resolution – Assist NIBR associates in resolving issues encountered with R2P systems and processes. Generate and utilize reports to proactively identify key issues and reach out to users who need support. Summarize issues and translate into management information.
Education and Training – Identify frequently asked questions and frequently encountered issues. Communicate recommended actions / advice to avoid or resolve issues. Facilitate and participate in "office hours” and other training sessions to train and support end users. Assist in the development and delivery of training content.
Focus on Customers - Partner with NIBR associates and external suppliers. Enable customers to perform their specific functions, with minimal distraction. Serves as a liaison between NIBR associates and 3rd party AP providers.
Technical - Subject matter expert for SAP. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the end to end R2P process. Fulfill various financial report generation and ad hoc requests. Performs R2P KPI/Metrics analysis and drives recommendations for enhancements.
Leading Change – Take calculated risks and make fact based recommendations that drive and balance customer service and process efficiency. Ensure recommendations are in compliance with controls. Have the ability to coach others through change.
Supplier Management – Responsible for partnering with Client' Primary BPO off-shore Supplier, as well as all other 3rd party supplier relationships that support the R2P process and systems. Ensure KPIs and SLAs are met, managed and improved. In partnership with 3rd Party Suppliers, drive process, people and system enhancements.
Communication - Effectively communicate with internal peers, team-mates, Internal/External Customers regarding daily operations and short-term/long-term strategies. Role model for effective communication, objective listening, problem solving and conflict management
Seasoned Experience with SAP/SRM systems
Previous Experience with Reporting and Analysis
Previous Experience with Project Management, Process Improvement, and Change Management preferred
Strong Communication, Facilitation and interpersonal skills
Strong Customer Service experience
Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflicts
Education: Bachelor's Degree Required
Experience: 4-8 Yr. Work experience
