Project Description

This individual will work as part of in vitro small molecule discovery team focusing on assay development, compound screening and target validation. The candidate should have working experience in immunology (preferentially immune-oncology) research and developing whole blood and cell based assays. A deep knowledge of technologies commonly used to assess immune endpoints, with emphasis on up to date flow cytometry, is required.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct in vitro assays to determine the functional effect(s) of small molecule compound activation/inhibition
  • Provide scientific knowledge and technical expertise to scientists across different disciplines and collaborate with other functional groups within drug discovery
  • Research potential new cancer targets for consideration as early discovery programs
  • Generate written reports and PowerPoint presentations


Minimum Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Cancer Biology, or related field
  • Post-doctoral experience (2-5 years) in a relevant field
  • Pharmaceutical or biotech experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication skills and a solid publication record
  • Capability to work in a team environment
