Responsible for development of global companion animal vaccines from positive proof of concept to registration. Accountable for the timely progression of assigned R&D projects through all stages of gate promotion process via leveraging effective project leadership skills, Clinical development skills and technical development expertise.
  • Serve as Product Development Leader for designated R&D projects: Collaborate effectively with Research & External innovation, Vaccine Science & Technology (Technical development) and Regulatory partners to execute assigned R&D projects.
  • Responsible for defining the scope and supporting on-time delivery of vaccine R&D technical development and clinical development assigned to colleagues in the Vaccine Science & Technology, global operations and external partners.
  • Lead preparation of project stage gate promotions.
  • Contribute in preparation of clinical study reports as co-author or author and review.
  • Contribute in the preparation of regulatory submissions.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the project team and hold self and others accountable.
  • Influence and motivate project team members to push for the “slightly impossible”.

  • Master degree with 10 years of experience or PhD and or DVM with 3 years of experience in leading multi-disciplinary vaccine development teams in the animal health industry.
  • A good practical understanding of USDA and EU regulations relating to development of all aspects of veterinary vaccines.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and provide leadership through influence.PhD and or DVM with >10 years of experience of leading companion Animal vaccine development project teams in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry
  • Significant experience of leading multi-disciplinary international Companion animal vaccine product development team.
  • Practical understanding of GLP and GCP regulations as they apply to study design and regulatory compliance
  • Expert level understanding of USDA and EU regulations relating to development of all aspects of companion animal veterinary vaccines.
