Fermentation Research Associate, Sr Research Associate/Associate Scientist, Microbial Physiology, RTP
Do you want to work in an environment in which creativity and challenging the status quo is as valued as scientific excellence? If so, you could be our new colleague in the Microbial Physiology Fermentation Group, an ambitious team of scientists and researchers based in Research Triangle Park, NC. Working within the Fermentation Technology Department, you’ll have responsibility for contributing to technologically advanced fermentation methods for a wide diversity of microbes. You also possess outstanding collaboration skills and customer focus. In your daily work, you’ll use these talents to pioneer research and transform it into business value for our customers.

In this position, you need to:

Have a bachelor or master degree in chemical or biological engineering or closely related discipline
  • Have had direct hands on experience working in a microbiology lab with knowledge and experience with microbial growth & fermentation
  • Be a proven team player with outstanding communication skills
  • Motivated and eager to learn new techniques
  • Ability to work independently and effectively
  • Ability to work with statistics and data management, visualization and presentation
  • Ability to work in the United States currently and in the future without sponsorship
