Research Associate/Senior Research Associate, Application Development, RTP
Are you ready for a challenging role that depends both on your technical expertise and your ability to collaboratively solve complex new problems? You’ll be part of a dynamic team based in Research Triangle Park, NC and will assist in the development and application of tools to uncover how different microbes improve crop performance in the rapidly-evolving agricultural biologicals industry. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are as comfortable with mastering new technology as you are with collecting high-quality data and interpreting results. In this position you need:
- A Bachelor or Master’s degree in microbiology, molecular biology, plant biology or a related field
- Demonstrated laboratory experience with standard molecular biology and/or microbiology techniques
- Interest and aptitude for showing initiative and attention to detail in a highly collaborative environment
- Experience with microbial ecology, plant biology, agronomy, statistics or bioinformatics is appreciated
- Previous industry experience is appreciated
