Project Description

The Regional Operational Quality Manager will be the point of contact for Quality in the region 
  • He/She will take the lead, and coordinate the efforts to,
  • Support the plants and businesses
  • Provide a full technical answer to a customer complaint and answering in a timely manner
  • Ensure the development of preventive actions to avoid quality defects
  • Promote the culture of Quality Excellence at all levels within the region
  • He/She has the full view of the customer portfolio, and specific requirements
  • He/She visits / interacts with the customers and understand their needs
  • The region knows who to contact, the region feels supported. 
  • To ensure that our Manufacturing processes and related SOPs reflect our capability to deliver consistent product quality
  • To manage & reduce quality defects & customer complaints effectively
  • To ensure continuous quality improvements
  • To participate to and to deploy the Quality Excellence roadmap decisions 

Main Output: 
  • Quality Roadmap action plan
  • Quality Excellence programs (systematic root cause analysis, war on variation, near misses, harmonization, robustness of processes, etc…)
  • Thorough and timely response to customer complaints
  • Reduced NPI blocked due to off spec production 

Performance criteria: 
  • Quality Dashboard
  • Main region’s KPIs
  • Tracking of Quality Defects and Customer Complaints evolution
  • Response from quality tools (CRM, Gensuite)
  • Plant performance KPIs 

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 10years experiences in technical, quality areas
  • Good leadership skill
  • Good interpersonal skill, and initiative
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese, familiar with office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, SAP... )
  • Six Sigma experience either black or green belt will be a plus
