Project Description

We are currently searching for a Regional Medical Liaison (RML) Nephrology/Osteology to join the Medical Team in our Swiss Affiliate in Zug. The job holder will focus on maximizing Amgen's value propositions through first-class medical and scientific projects, services and expertise, with key scientific customers and will implement scientific programs in collaboration with our Commercial Organization and Development Operations.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESIdentifies, develops and maintains collaborative relationships with current and future scientific experts, cooperative study groups and study sitesDevelops and implements local plans, with local brand teamWorks with Sales Representatives to ensure prioritization of scientific expertsDiscusses scientific value messages, clinical outcome and patient benefits with scientific experts, hospital pharmacists and local payers in close collaboration with the Key Account Manager /access groupWorks with development operations to ensure prioritization of trial site selection, and support feasibility across SwitzerlandParticipates in investigator meetings according to approved investigator strategyImplements and follows up on Investigator Sponsored Studies and other scientific activities, provides input to the design of local observational researchSupports Amgen Sponsored Trials on site with scientific presentations/discussions to create enthusiasm for the scientific programIdentifies new research/study opportunities in collaboration with Medical AdvisorImplements and disseminates high quality medical and scientific educational programs; gives clinical and scientific presentations at sites/cooperative groups/ hospital formulariesWorks with development field operations to ensure prioritization of site selection for clinical trialsDevelops required qualitative and quantitative reports; monitoring of market environmentEnsures medical/legal excellence and complianceREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSAdvanced degree (e.g. PhD, MD) preferred or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional trainingMinimum 3 years of experience in industry, or a related scientific field in academiaExperience in sales force, affiliate Medical Department or Clinical Development preferredScientific expertise in the therapeutic areas Nephrology and/or Osteology, related products, disease state, and interested in latest discoveries; established relationships with key experts strongly preferred Experience with clinical study management and conduct preferredStrong project management and presentation skillsTeamplayer with experience in working in cross-functional teams Fluent in German and English, French preferredFlexible to travelHJEU2017
