Project Description

  • We are currently searching for a Regional Medical Liaison (RML) Nephrology/Osteology to join the Medical Team in our Swiss Affiliate.
  • The job holder will focus on maximizing company's value propositions through first-class medical and scientific projects, services and expertise, with key scientific customers and will implement scientific programs in collaboration with our Commercial Organization and Development Operations.

  • Identifies, develops and maintains collaborative relationships with current and future scientific experts, cooperative study groups and study sites
  • Develops and implements local plans, with local brand team
  • Works with Sales Representatives to ensure prioritization of scientific experts
  • Discusses scientific value messages, clinical outcome and patient benefits with scientific experts, hospital pharmacists and local payers in close collaboration with the Key Account Manager /access group
  • Works with development operations to ensure prioritization of trial site selection, and support feasibility across Switzerland
  • Participates in investigator meetings according to approved investigator strategy
  • Implements and follows up on Investigator Sponsored Studies and other scientific activities, provides input to the design of local observational research
  • Supports company Sponsored Trials on site with scientific presentations/discussions to create enthusiasm for the scientific program
  • Identifies new research/study opportunities in collaboration with Medical Adviser
  • Implements and disseminates high quality medical and scientific educational programs; gives clinical and scientific presentations at sites/cooperative groups/ hospital formulates
  • Works with development field operations to ensure prioritization of site selection for clinical trials
  • Develops required qualitative and quantitative reports; monitoring of market environment
  • Ensures medical/legal excellence and compliance

  • Advanced degree (e.g. PhD, MD) preferred or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional training
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industry, or a related scientific field in academia
  • Experience in sales force, affiliate Medical Department or Clinical Development preferred
  • Scientific expertise in the therapeutic areas Nephrology and/or Osteology, related products, disease state, and interested in latest discoveries; established relationships with key experts strongly preferred  
  • Experience with clinical study management and conduct preferred
  • Strong project management and presentation skills
  • Teamplayer with experience in working in cross-functional teams  
  • Fluent in German and English, French preferred
  • Flexible to travel
