Regional Medical Education Manager - Hong Kong
Build and maintain positive working relationships with key customers, including, professional societies, HCP’s and relevant consumer groups to understand their education needs.
Generate insights through Ad Boards, roundtables and one-to-one meetings.
Understand the therapeutic area, brand strategy and external environment.
Consult with relevant internal stakeholders to gather customer education insights and needs.
Educational Platform Development:
Drive education component of brand planning process to champion an education platform that delivers on brand strategic imperatives.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to assemble program components, including C&E, compliance, CME accreditation provider, Medical Leads, steering committees, etc.
Leverages Australian (also from other Amgen regions) Educational programs & tools and integrates best practices.
Program planning and Execution:
Develop KPIs and gain budget approval for activities
Ensure development of educational tools to support the programs.
Lead the planning and execution of programs in coordination with relevant Amgen staff, including C&E.
Ensure program alignment with internal SOPs and other internal & external compliance requirements for programs.
Evaluation Follow-up and Reporting:
Conduct after action report, measured against KPIs with timely reporting to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Define and refine best practice.
Qualifications, skills and experience
Masters of Science degree/ Doctor/ Pharmacist/ registered nurse
3 - 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry (in-house or as an external provider)
Experience in the development and delivery of medical-scientific tools, such as slide decks and education materials
Project management experience
Post graduate adult education qualifications (Desirable)
Fully conversant with adult learning theories and proven ability to translate those into practical application
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience in relevant therapeutic area
Established relevant customer networks
Fluency with professional accreditation rules/guidance and their application
