Project Description

 Position Summary 
The Regional Account Manager will develop commercial relationship with hospital and office based opinion leaders and decision makers in order to maximize access to our company  products within key accounts/hospitals identified in the region.

 

Principal Responsibilities
  • Creates awareness of HPP and LAL disease and symptoms
  • Implements educational and disease awareness plans in accordance with written guidelines and processes, using approved educational resources and tools
  • Works closely with Medical Affairs team to ensure appropriate communication of medical and scientific information and response to requests for information from Healthcare Professionals in compliance with written guidelines and processes
  • Develops and maintains strong in-depth clinical, technical and scientific knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully identify key treatment centers, mapping of centers of expertise and medical experts in the area
  • Demonstrates the ability to educate on the diagnostic approach to the disease leading to a successful differential diagnosis and appropriate testing of patient populations
  • Appropriately utilizes all approved disease awareness educational tools and resources including power point presentations
  • Selling of company products within legal boundaries according to company s marketing and sales strategy
  • Provides a high level of disease awareness expertise timely and complete reporting to the senior position and continuous maintenance of the CRM database
  • Get insight from the customers  about disease and other data relevant to understand the diseases in compliance with written guidelines
  • Develop network and professional relationship with local specialist including diagnostic specialists and laboratory centers 
  • Effective administrator who efficiently manages time, educational tools and resources and workload
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and organizational abilities
  • Collect and communicate pharmacovigilance information according to internal SOPs
  • Representation of our company at regional, national and international events and congresses

 

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical experience
  • Strong preference for one or more of following sales experience:
    • in the Endocrinology and Medical Genetics specialties and/or experience interacting to physicians specialized in treating bone disorders
    • with enzyme replacement therapy products
    • in the orphan or ultra-orphan area
  • Experience and background in the following areas is desirable:
    • in the Nephrology, Orthopedic surgery and Rheumatology specialties
    • Experience managing a self-injected product 
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in an interdependent, team-oriented environment on a consistent basis
  • Experience in launching a biopharmaceutical in the past 3-5 years preferred
  • Ability to gain consistent access & develop strong, professional relationships for scientific exchange with healthcare providers in community and academic centers
  • Ability to travel within territory on a regular basis which will include frequent overnight and weekend travel
  • Valid driver s license and clean driving

 

Education 
  • Degree in life science and/or business/marketing
  • Advanced or Master s degree ideal

Compensation
  • Minimum Salary at 100% employment level would be EUR 35,000 gross.
  • We are willing to overpay according to market benchmarks and qualifications
