Description:
QA Tech position mainly responsible for parts inspection: dimensional analysis (calipers, micrometers, hardness testing, automated measurement systems), functional checks. Also, will be responsible for executing validation protocols, completing data sheets using Good Documentation Practices, and following procedures.


Accountabilities
  • Demonstrates general knowledge of specific testing methods and products
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of applicable regulations and standards
  • Expands skills and techniques in testing methodologies
  • Works within established SOPs and/or scientific methods
  • Adheres to quality guidelines
  • Works with a moderate degree of supervision
  • Complies with regulations and standards
  • Identifies non-compliance within regulations and standards
  • Is skilled in own work area within an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)
  • Expands skills and techniques in one skill area / process / method
  • Maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed
  • Applies knowledge and skills to complete assigned tasks within own area
  • Works within established SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines
  • Works with a moderate degree of supervision
  • Perform testing, data generation and data analysis as necessary, through the knowledge and use of statistical problem solving techniques.
  • Responsible for general plant rules and policies governing workplace performance and Environmental, Safety & Health policies and procedure compliance within respective functional area and facility, as appropriate.
  • Responsible for Non-Conforming product Disposition, containment and investigation to eliminate reoccurrence

Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 2-3 years  experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge
