The Global Business Solutions (GBS) Center at Cork was established in July 2010 to provide financial shared services such as Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, General Accounting and Global Travel and Meeting services. Since then, the scope of GBS Cork has expanded outside of Finance and into other Business Service functions, including Customer Meeting Services, Global HR Data Management and Medical Information. This growth, outside of Finance, is in addition to continued growth in our original Finance scope.
This means that we have a diverse group of employees from finance professionals to HR professionals to medical professionals and event planning experts. The current headcount is circa 400 multi-lingual employees and the culture is vibrant and diverse.   • Responsible for the Quality systems in place to support operations managed through GBS Center Cork and also for the Quality Plan, Quality Manual, GMP Corrective action tracking and Quality systems trending.
  • Responsible for the Quality Management activities within our ERP system (SAP) associated to Customers and Material Master.
  • Ensure that Change Controls and Deviations associated with GBS Center Cork operations are properly completed and evaluated.
  • Ensure that updated Quality Agreements are maintained between Marketing Affiliate Operations and GBS Center Cork.
  • Provide support for quality compliance in accordance with the Global Quality Lilly Standards and Health Authority requirements as well as for the follow-up on Global Quality Assurance audit findings, Marketing Affiliate Global Quality and Health Authority inspections and Quality Management of the Customers if applicable.
  • Work with business partners to make sure that QA activities operate in an efficient manner and in maintaining up to date Standard Operating Procedures systems – Creation & revision.
  • Review and approve GMP documentation associated to all GBS Center Cork operations.
  • Responsible for giving guidance on resolution/investigation of Quality issues, under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Team Leader, in conjunction with Regional QA and Marketing Affiliate QA.
  • Represent the GBS Center Cork Quality organization and maintain a strong working relationship inside and outside the GBS Center Cork area (marketing affiliates, global and regional teams and customers).

  • 3-5 years QA experience in Pharmaceutical, food or healthcare environment
  • Degree in Life Sciences preferably in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology or another related science
  • Experience in MS Office
