Project Description

Programme Management Assistant

Give yourself the best possible platform for a career within project management

If you aspire to make a career in project management or similar, this position will be a perfect stepping stone. LEO Pharma has embarked on a very exciting journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology partner. As part of this we are implementing SAP throughout the global organisation. This is a very large programme consisting of multiple projects requiring solid process governance to succeed. That is why we need you to join our Portfolio Office and handle programme management assistance. The position is temporary ending 1 January 2019 with ample opportunities for extension.

Assist Programme and Project Managers to deliver top-class project management

Your focus is to assist primarily Project and Programme Managers in delivering best-in-class management of the many projects in the programme. You will:

  • Support and facilitate reporting processes across the project portfolio
  • Follow up on specific project reporting – e.g. risk, issues and actions
  • Maintain, optimise and distribute processes, e.g. time registration and other reporting
  • Maintain and optimise project governance tools – e.g. project plans, schedules and trackers
  • Produce documentation, presentations and the like
  • Ensure that our processes are compliant with overall LEO strategies and processes

Your key to success will to a great extent be founded on your ability to make your agenda a priority in a very busy stakeholder environment. This takes solid cooperation and communication skills and the ability to motivate and create a good dialogue.

Strong organising and coordination skills

You probably have a university degree with a link to project management backed by some experience from a similar role. Experience as Project Manager will also be a relevant background. You are a skilled user of MS Office. Since you will be working in a very dynamic company, you must thrive on creating results in an environment with on-going changes. You must be a self-starter and like to take personal ownership for your tasks. As governance guardian you must be attentive to best practice and know how to transfer it across parallel processes and tools.

Your complex stakeholder landscape calls for an open-minded approach and the ability to see problems as challenges that can be solved through creative thinking and hard work. You will need solid organisational and project management skills. You have a strong command of MS Office, and if you know SharePoint and/or SAP it will be an advantage. As all communication is in English, you must have a solid command of English, written and spoken.

Your new team

You will join a newly established team. Our focus is to deliver top-class administrative and process related services to colleagues and external consultants working in LEO Pharma’s global and business critical SAP Programme. We are based at the LEO headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen.

We look forward to receiving your application.
