Job Description : 
  • Maximize the success and competitiveness by formulating and executing on the Clinical & Translational Analytics product road-map that results in our company Informatics becoming the Clear 1st Choice for informatics products and services.
  • The Product Manager for Clinical & Translational Analytics develops the detailed market-based Product Road-map for the product’s success through concrete and executable plans for:     
  • Organic investments (New Product Introductions, Service Packages) 
  • Inorganic Investments (acquisitions, equity investments)  Successful Product Management leaders exemplify Commitment to Customers, Action Orientation and Results Focus (near term and multi-year) and demonstrate commitment to Entrepreneurial spirit and Teamwork with the highest standards of Ethics & Integrity.

  • Formulate and drive the detailed multi-year Product Road-map for Clinical & Translational Analytics through systematic assessment of market needs via formal and informal primary and secondary market research 
  • Detailing Product pipeline:   
    • Work closely with Global Marketing for Clinical & Translational Analytics to detail investments road-map related to the     
  • Work closely with R&D as the Agile “product owner”, including:   
    • Translation of current/unmet needs of the marketplace and direct/indirect competitors into potential technical solutions 
    • Create crisp and clear requirements documentation for new product ideas and product enhancements 
    • Get product ideas approved and product development activities initiated working closely with cross functional teams 
    • Play a hands-on role in early days of product (during development, initial proof of concept engagements with select customers) to demonstrate value of product to customer         
  • Maintain the product roadmap and ensure transparency into upcoming work and development status 
  • Write detailed, clear, high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria 
  • Attend and participate in regular Scrum meetings (Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective, etc) 
  • Work directly with global development teams to clarify and iterate on user stories and acceptance criteria 
  • Make and communicate decisions on the prioritization of backlog items to ensure maximum outcome with minimum output 
  • Determine whether a backlog item was satisfactorily delivered (acceptance)  


Job Requirements :  
  • Graduate degree (e.g., BS scientific or computer science discipline with MBA) 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience including software development or developing enterprise software solutions in life sciences 
  • Effective leadership with strong demonstration of behaviors in Commitment to Customers, Action Orientation and Results Focus
  • Understanding of the clinical analytics space (clinical data review, operations/Risk-based monitoring, portfolio management) and clinical systems (EDC, CTMS, RTSM…) 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with software development teams and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies strongly preferred) 
  • Demonstrated success in developing new product or solution ideas, launching new software products 
  • Strong communication skills with ability to create technical requirements documentation 
  • Unique blend of business & technical savvy; a big picture vision; drive to make that vision a reality 
  • Experience in end-to-end execution of product launch marketing strategies 
  • Sound understanding of software product lifecycle management 
  • Up to 30% travel may be required with 10-20% being steady state
