  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing and clean-in-place areas, including troubleshooting and process improvement, while assuring that operations comply with all regulations and standards.
  • Lead efforts in design, installation, qualification and operation of new equipment.
  • Develop and monitor control systems for process indicators to identify and address process and equipment performance.
  • Develop, implement and maintain improvements for capacity, product quality, materials consumption, waste/emissions generation, process safety and process variability.
  • Perform and summarize improvement opportunities in technical reports, investigations, plant/lab trials, data analysis and process modeling.
  • Assist with technical training to Operations personnel and support groups on unit operations and process.
  • Partner with Quality, Technical Services and Safety/Environmental to ensure processes are robust, compliant and continuously improving

EDUCATION: B.S. in Chemical Engineering, B.S. in Bio-technical Engineering, B.S. in Biomedical Engineering.
EXPERIENCE: Preferred Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing facility (Experience in Biotechnology processes or in pharmaceutical is preferred). Demonstrated strong engineering knowledge in problem solving, troubleshooting and equipment qualification.
SKILLS: Computer literate, Team work oriented, Bilingual (English & Spanish)
Other Requirements: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other parts of the organization and across multiple levels are essential. Good organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks. Flexibility is required to provide technical support and continuity to the 24 hours process operation. Be an active Member of CIAPR/EIT license.
