The Associate Director, Planning & Scheduling (Planning and Warehouse Operations Manager) is responsible for leading the Incoming Materials IPT. The position oversees the incoming materials warehouse, the freezer can team, and a small tream of planners responsible for materials supporting manufacturing operations. Key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
- Safe and compliant warehouse operations
- Leading continuous improvement activities within the Incoming Materials Team (MPS)
- Overseeing execution of the monthly planning cycle in SAP
- Managing West Point locally purchased inventory
- Interacting and supporting regulatory and business compliance inspections and audits
- Acting as a member of the Supply Chain Management leadership team
- Coordinating cross-functional team to make sure materials are received, sampled, tested, and released to meet customer needs
A minimum of (5) five years of experience in operations or supply chain management. Previous management/supervisory experience.
Knowledge of SAP. Practical skill in implementing continuous improvement.
