Responsibilities Perform assigned duties in the pen assembly / packaging and cartridge inspection areas according to established proceduresActively participate as a member of the production team for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of production operations Attain and maintain qualification for the operation of assigned process equipment and duties in the area Assists in the collection and tracking of operational data Participate in the investigation of non-conformances and development of root cause analysis Identify opportunities for operational improvements Proactively monitor documentation and product quality, properly documenting all activity and reporting any issues to supervision Monitor and build a strong safety culture 33402BR Basic Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Minimum of 1 year experience operating Wright Industries or Komax assembly, and IMA packaging equipment for the manufacture of disposable devices in a GMP environment. Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills Testing if applicable.Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Additional Skills/Preferences Demonstrate a good documentation practices Must be able to read and perform mathematical calculations Ability to learn technology Ability to repetitively handle materials up to 40 lbs. Ability to demonstrate successfully working in a team environment Demonstrated good documentation practices as well as completion and review of manufacturing tickets. Demonstrated ability to integrate Health and Safety requirements into daily business Must be able to read and perform mathematical calculations Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies Strong ability to multi-task Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in device manufacturing operations using Wright assembly equipment and IMA packaging equipment in the assembly of Apollo disposable devices Strong technical and mechanical aptitude PMX experience Experience in the inspection of cartridges. Additional Information Required Safety Equipment: Safety glasses, uniform (Including Japan gowning Hood, jumpsuit, and gloves), hearing protection, and safety shoes required per local area requirements. Product Exposure: Position will work with various Lilly insulin products Personal Considerations: This is a 12 hour position. The current days / hours are: DAY SHIFT: 5:45 am- 6 pm (2-2-3 schedule - 7 day schedule) Overtime and weekend work is required. Reports to: Shift Leader Ability to repetitively handle materials up to 40 lbs, work on your feet for majority of the shift, and successfully pass a post offer exam. This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.
